Department of Marketing and Public Relations

The Department of Marketing and Public Relations is a constituent unit of the University of Skopje, which performs various business and educational functions related to the mission and activity of our University.

It creates the image of our University

The department creates and implements the University's communication strategy, manages its brand and establishes and maintains the institution's public relations.

Beside creating and implementing the University's marketing strategies and campaigns, the Department is also responsible for managing its social networks, organizing events and promotions, as well as creating and implementing projects in the field of marketing and communications.

It provides consulting services for the needs of the business community

The department also provides consultancy services to the business community according to its needs. The expert support offered by our professors enables companies to take promptly advantage of market potentials by identifying the needs and expectations of the public, especially the strategic public, which affects the creation of the company's image and competitiveness. The support of our experts is also aimed at the adequate application of modern efficient and effective communication concepts that will enable companies and institutions to gain a competitive position on the market and to grow and develop continuously.

It promotes social responsibility

The Department of Marketing and Public Relations is open to cooperate with all institutions, companies and agencies from the public and private sectors that promote the need for socially responsible behavior integrated into the corporate integrity, credibility and image of institutions and companies.

It practically educates future professionals in the field

Our students are actively involved in the work of the Marketing and Public Relations Department. Their engagement is an integral part of the curricula of our University, through which they continuously acquire applied knowledge, as well as extraordinary competencies for solving business problems. Taking into consideration the fact that communication is the most important component of marketing, we pay particular attention to students acquiring skills in spoken and written communication, critical and analytical thinking and the use of digital technologies. In the center of their practical engagement is the adoption and change of ethical values that ensure high professionalism, flexibility and productive teamwork.
