Based on the renewed Charter for Higher Education for the period 2021-2027 (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2021-2027) and the submitted application for participation in the Mobility Programme, as well as the Mobility Regulation of universities in the country and abroad

Mobility of HEIs in programme countries

For the academic year 2026/2027, UTMS has at its disposal:

  1. 5 student mobilities for study
  2. 5 student mobilities for internships (training)
  3. 3 teaching staff mobilities for teaching
  4. 1 training staff mobilities

Students and staff apply for mobility based on agreements signed by their home institutions (https://utms.edu.mk/lista-na-erazmus-partneri)

Required documents for student registration

  • Completed application form (from the UTMS website)
  • Confirmation of full-time student
  • Certificate of passed exams
  • CV
  • Motivation letter
    Document/certificate of knowledge of English or the language of the institution where the mobility will be realized - selected students are subject to an online language test with standardized tests that will determine the level of knowledge of the foreign language on two occasions - immediately before departure and after the end of the mobility, in order to see the progress during the process, while the issued certificate is required to be uploaded by the students themselves to the platform for which they will need to create their own account
    Additionally: Learning Agreement for studies, which determines the study program, the period of realization, signed by the student, the faculty coordinator and the institutional coordinator of the home institution and by the partner university (at least 20 ECTS) / Learning Agreement for Traineeship

The initial selection / ranking of candidates is made by the faculty based on academic success, knowledge of a foreign language and motivation for participation in the Program. Students submit the application to the Erasmus+ coordinator of UTMS, no later than 15/03/2026, while the deadline for submitting ranked applications by the Erasmus + Office to the Rectorate of UTMS is 15/04/2026.

After selection, selected staff will need to submit:

Confirmation of regular employment
Staff Mobility Agreement for Teaching – signed by the candidate, the institutional E+ coordinator and approved and signed by the partner institution / Staff Mobility Agreement for Training – signed by the candidate, the faculty and institutional E+ coordinator and approved and signed by the partner institution

The teaching staff submits the online application no later than 15/03/2026, while the deadline for ranking the applications submitted by the units to the UTMS Rectorate is 15/04/2026.

The ranking of teaching staff candidates is done by the units, and the ranked applications are submitted to the UTMS Rectorate, where the Central Selection Committee makes the final decision.
