On the 17th birthday of the "Beauty and Health" Magazine, the University of Skopje received recognition for membership in the World Tourism Organization, as the only higher education institution from Macedonia.

The teaching staff, study programs, connection with the industry are just part of the criteria of the World Tourism Organization that monitors and evaluates the entire process.

The Dean of the Faculty of Tourism at UTMS, Prof. PhD. Sasko Gramatnikovski said that students included in the study program receive what the market requires in order to achieve an excellent career. Achieving the required quality is not easy at all. You really have to satisfy many competencies as a tourism program, said Dean Gramatnikovski.

"I can say that a lot of work has been completed in recent years in order to achieve the required progress in the areas being analyzed. I think that our basic condition for work is quality, and quality is based on continuous progress. The University of Skopje is seriously committed to higher education being at a dignified level, on a world scale, which, in addition to theory, knowledge is also based on a practical part, so that young people are prepared to respond to the labor market after completing their studies," he emphasized.

UTMS's admission to the World Tourism Organization was officially confirmed on October 26, 2010, on the island of Kish in Iran. With this, UTMS became one of the elite universities in Europe and the world that are members of this most prestigious organization in the field of tourism. UTMS is also the holder of the TEDQual diploma for quality in higher education awarded by this institution.
