The University of Skopje participated in the 56th International Tourism Fair in Novi Sad with its own exhibition stand, where study programs and activities in the field of tourism and hospitality were presented.

Within the framework of the fair activities, the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Sashko Gramatnikovski, held official meetings with the Provincial Secretary for Economy and Tourism of Vojvodina, Nenad Ivanišević, the Mayor of Novi Sad, Zharko Michin, and the Director of the Novi Sad Fair, Slobodan Cvetkovich.

The meetings discussed the possibilities for strengthening academic and tourism cooperation, joint projects and the advancement of tourism education.

The participation of the University of Skopje was assessed as exceptionally successful and significant for the promotion of the Macedonian tourism potential and for the expansion of international partnerships.

The University of Skopje has once again been awarded several prestigious awards from the Novi Sad Fair — recognition for its continuous contribution to the advancement of tourism knowledge and the development of tourism in the Republic of Macedonia.
