On April 8, 2023, in the organization of the Association of Geography Professors of Macedonia "Prof. PhD. Ljube Milenkovski", starting at 12:30 p.m., the regional geography competitions were held. The competitions were held at testing locations throughout Macedonia, and  University of Skopje  was one of them. The Institute of Geography within the University was actively involved in the organization of the entire event.

The preliminary rankings from the regional competitions are available on the website of the Association of Geography Professors of Macedonia "Prof. PhD. Ljube Milenkovski". All participants with more than 85 points in the regional competitions will participate in the state competition.
